Homeopathic Facial Analysis (HFA)

Homeopathic Facial Analysis (HFA) is a diagnostic tool used in homeopathy to assess a person's dominant miasm—an inherited energetic pattern—based on facial features. By analyzing lines, shapes, skin texture, and color patterns, practitioners match these traits to one of the three primary miasms: Psora, Sycosis, or Syphilis. This helps guide the selection of the most suitable homeopathic remedy.

Aydan Hajiyeva is our HFA qualified practitioner in addition to her Osteopathy.

 How it works:
Photos of the face are examined for structural and expressive patterns. These patterns reflect the body's deeper energetic state and susceptibility to certain chronic conditions. The analysis complements traditional homeopathic case-taking.

Common issues it addresses:

  • Chronic illnesses (e.g., asthma, eczema, arthritis)

  • Autoimmune disorders

  • Emotional imbalances and anxiety

  • Long-standing, unresolved health issues

HFA aims to provide a clearer, more personalized path to healing by aligning remedies with an individual's core energetic blueprint.

The initial consultation (1 hour)

Prior to the consultation you will be asked to complete a form at home, in your own time, to ensure enough reflection on the questions. Please return the form the day before the appointment at the latest. During the first consultation the information you provided will be further clarified and additional details sought if required. The photos of your face will also be taken to be analysed. These include front-on and both profile photos, as well as a few expression photos (a natural smile, a big smile showing all teeth, a frown and raised eyebrows). The hair will need to be pulled back either with a hair tie/headband or with your hands. The photos are stored securely in case a reevaluation of the analysis is necessary at a later stage, and extra photos may be requested or taken in this case. Once your face and case are analysed, a single remedy will be selected for you. You can get it from a homeopathic dispensary (including online) or some pharmacies. The remedy is to be taken daily and you will receive instructions on how and how often to take it.

Follow-ups (40 mins)

The response to the remedy is evaluated after about 4 weeks of taking it daily and depending on the changes in symptoms either a frequency or potency adjustment is made or a different remedy is selected, in which case the first remedy is stopped. Every face and case is unique and can be wonderfully complex but the HFA method offers a clear roadmap to finding the best remedy. It may take a few remedy trials to find the most deeply resonating one (provided the facial analysis was accurate), however, in some cases the first chosen remedy proves to be a perfect match.
